Little Memories PreSchool / Day Care is a small in Home Day Care dedicated since 1981 to providing an atmosphere which encourages physical, educational and social growth, in a safe, loving and happy environment.

 Our Day Care is open to all children 2 months to 12 years of age.

We provide two well-balanced meals and 2 snacks per day.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Nationally Accredited in 1997

Enrolled in Delaware Stars - A Quality 5 Star Rating & Improvement System

We are currently Star Level 2 working to achieve Star Level 3

* Certified to give Medication

* Certified in First Aid and C.P.R.

* Participant in the CACFP Food Program

Successfully completed TECE 1 & TECE 2

* 2 Certified Teachers

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that a child should be cared for in a stable and nuturing environment that will enable the child to grow emotionally and intellectually at their own pace.  We believe that a child should be treated with dignity and respect.  The essence of our work is to form a bond with each child and to create opportunities for the child to develop a good self-esteem.  It is very important to us that we work closely together with each child's parents to make this day care home a warm, loving place where the children will want to come to each day.  We strive to develop an honest, mutually respecful relationship with the parents and the children as we work to achieve our main goal and that is to help each child grow emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

 BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

This Day Care provides care for children from Kindergarten through the 5th grade.  The schools we service are Richey, Marbrook, and Richardson Park Elementary Schools. Bus transportation is provided to each school and for safety reasons the children from this day care home are supervised to and from the bus stop with one of the adult providers each day.
